Witter Gallery, in collaboration with Buena Vista University students, will host Harmony at Dusk, a free, family-friendly evening of interactive art, music and community engagement Friday, April 24, beginning at 7 p.m.
The main event is a live video show, Visual Sound, brought to life through sound and audience participation. At 8 p.m. children will have the chance to play sounds from the Harmony Gardens themselves, becoming part of the performance in a one-of-a-kind interactive finale. Visual Sound consists of three short films which provide on-screen cues to assist audience participants in creating an immersive performance.
Along with interactive art activities, Harmony at Dusk will provide booths for kids of all ages to create make-and-take art, coloring tables and Witter Glitter Ice Cream Sundaes. Additionally, there will be a $10 Wingspan Raffle with prizes from community businesses. Winners will be announced throughout the evening, giving attendees multiple chances to win while also supporting the Witter Gallery.
