Corridor Connections panel to highlight local and state resources

Posted

The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation will be hosting a Corridor Connections event on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at King’s Pointe in Storm Lake. This event will include a panel discussion of local and state resources to share available incentives and opportunities for both large and small businesses.

Panelists include Iowa Economic Development Authority Business Development Manager Anne McMahon, IASourceLink’s Amy Thompson, City of Storm Lake Development Services Specialist Lee Dutfield, and Storm Lake United Executive Director Laura Hanks. Moderated by Corridor CEO Curt Strouth, the panel will dive into resources and incentives from the state, regional and local levels available to business owners and community leaders.

“Business owners and community leaders often know support is available but may not know where to begin,” said Corridor President and CEO Curt Strouth. “Bringing state and local partners together gives attendees a clearer path to the incentives and opportunities that can help them start or grow a business.”

Corridor Connections events are free to attend, but RSVPs are required. RSVP for the event at lakescorridor.com/connect or by calling the office at 712-264-3474.
