Buena Vista County Conservation welcomes homeschool families of all ages for a hands-on adventure with scats and skulls. This program will be Tuesday, Nov. 10. from 10:30 a.m.-noon at the Casino Bay Marina.
Through hands-on activities, wildlife mystery challenges and even an edible scat snack (allergies permitting!) students will learn how scientists use clues to determine what animals eat. Participants will handle models of skulls and scat and learn to find the clues that reveal if the animal is an herbivore, carnivore or omnivore!
This fun and slightly gross program is for students of all ages. Registration is required. Visit https://www.mycountyparks.com/County/Buena-Vista/Park/Casino-Bay-Marina/Events/30038/Homeschool-Scat-Skulls-Investigation
