Rep. Megan Jones sworn in for the 91st General Assembly

On Monday, Jan. 13, Rep. Megan Jones (R-Sioux Rapids) was sworn into the Iowa House of Representatives on the first day of the 91st General Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was followed by opening remarks by Speaker of the House Pat Grassley, outlining some of the priorities of the Legislature for the 2025 session.

This is Rep. Jones’ seventh term in the Iowa House of Representatives. She is the current Chair of the Local Government. She also serves on the State Government and Ways and Means Committees, as well as the Federal and Other Funds Committee.
