Notice of upcoming water outage

The City of Storm Lake will be shutting down the water main in the Radio Road/Expansion Blvd. area at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, to repair a hydrant that was heavily damaged in a recent vehicle accident.

The main between Richland Drive and the railroad tracks on Radio Road and Expansion Blvd. east of Radio Road will be out of service that day for approximately eight hours. A boil advisory for the area will then be issued through Tuesday to allow for water testing after the line is reconnected. Impacted properties will be receiving a notice when the boil advisory begins and another when it is lifted.
