Buena Vista Regional Medical Center has welcomed the first baby born in 2025. Proud parents, Thandar and Soe from Storm Lake, are excited to introduce their newest addition, Izabella. Dr. Roy Grant delivered her on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 12:43 p.m., Izabella weighed five pounds eighth ounces and measured 18.75 inches long. The couple was showered with a basket of baby essentials, courtesy of BVRMC First Embrace Obstetrics.
