Mary Anna Eaton, 92, formerly of Plymouth, Minn., died on Jan. 4, 2026, at Folkestone in Wayzata, Minn.
Born on June 9, 1933, in Kirksville, Mo., Mary Anna was the daughter of Charles Henry and Vivian Ilene Truitt. She graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. On Dec. 30, 1955, at Kirksville, she married Victor Roe Eaton — a loving marriage that lasted 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Truitt.
She is survived by her children: David Michael Eaton and his wife Diane; Jeffrey Douglas Eaton and his wife Joan; Amy Jean Alexander and her husband Scot, of Plymouth, Minn. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Daniel, John, Sam and Alex Eaton; Jack, Rachel and Ben Alexander; and Sarah Johnson; in addition to nine great-grandchildren.
Mary Anna enjoyed hosting family and friends, gardening, biking, cooking, reading and Bible study.
Burial will be at Fort Snelling Cemetery, and a memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 9, at Folkestone in Wayzata, Minn. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Mary Anna can be made to Bible Study Fellowship: https://www.bsfinternational.org/support/memorials-and-honorarium/
