Letters to the Editor: Watch Rogan’s Trump interview

Posted

Anyone who is curious about the 45th and now 47th President of our beloved USA should watch Joe Rogan interview President Donald J Trump. You can find it by typing in JRE Trump in your search and watch their three hour conversation on YouTube.

Those who think Trump is racist, Hitler, a dictator, etc., believe what CNN, MSNBC, NPR and other media have said. Taking a comment out of context to deceive is easy to do, and has been done often to smear Trump.

Get to know the real Trump from another perspective and you might see why so many of us love our new President.

Forgotten values

Half of Americans who voted seem to have forgotten values that define human kind.

Values that make our lives better, and values that separate people from acting like animals.

Leaders have been elected who do not value honesty.

Leaders have been elected who do not value knowledge and experts.

Leaders have been elected who disregard rules, legal principals and Constitutional law.

Leaders have been elected who do not value empathy, diversity and inclusion.

Leaders have been elected who do not display any concern for standards of ethics or morality.

Leaders have been elected who use bullying, name-calling and hate mongering.

Leaders have been elected who promote revenge and bloodshed.

Leaders have been elected who accept millions from special interests which has resulted in a callous disregard of caring about and consulting their constituents.

Leaders have been elected who continually deny they are responsible for their own caustic behaviors.

A Democracy depends on a leaders and a population who may disagree on issues, but who act from a shared set of values.

America is about to find out again how miserable our lives can be. The resulting deterioration of physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health is about to become unprecedented. Sadly, the forthcoming rotting chaos will affect everyone regardless of how or if they voted.

Those elected leaders and that half of the voting population are to blame. Shame on every one of them.

Carol Gottsch, Omaha, Neb.
