Even with the late spring rains and some gardens being flooded, we had an amazing array of garden vegetables this past market season.
Thank you to all our loyal customers and the new friends who found their way to the Storm Lake Farmers Market.
Thank you to the new vendors who joined us bringing homemade soaps, interesting varieties of banana breads and new honey products. Look for them again next summer.
Thank you to our steadfast vendors bringing a host of traditional and Asian vegetables, melons and squash. Also gallons of honey, a big variety of quick breads, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, plantain and taro chips and flower cookies. And let’s not forget those beautiful bracelets.
Thank you to the City of Storm Lake for allowing us to set up shop in Parking Lot C. Thank you to Storm Lake United for giving us space on their website for market information. Thank you to the Times Pilot for highlighting our vendors with articles and pictures.
Thank you to Joe Cullen for sharing his violin/fiddle talents at the market. The music was enjoyed by young and old alike.
Thank you to the SLPD for joining us with their “homegrown” bomb pops.
And a very big thank you to Dana Larsen for highlighting the Storm Lake Farmers Market regularly on the City of Storm Lake Facebook page.
We hope you all have a safe and spectacular winter and spring. We will be planning our gardens and trying new recipes to bring to all of you in the summer of 2025.
Thank you are two very simple words that mean so much to all of us at the Storm Lake Farmers Market. Thank you!
Storm Lake Farmers Market
You own a business and you are hiring. Would you hire an individual who had been found liable for sexual assault and defamation in civil court? Would you consider someone who had filed for bankruptcy five different times? How about those 34 felony convictions? Or this person might need to take time away from the job to fight two pending indictments? I think not! Trump — you are fired!
