Kyle Allan Albers was born March 27, 2001, to Keith and Brenda (Hoffman) Albers in Storm Lake. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake where he remained a lifelong member. Kyle attended Storm Lake Public Schools, graduating in 2019. He began studying diesel mechanics at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. He was able to complete one semester before his illness prevented him from attending classes.
In his younger years, Kyle enjoyed participating in sports at school. He was also an active member of 4-H where he looked forward to showing rabbits, cats and entering the “Bucket of Junk” challenge at the Buena Vista County Fair. He loved skateboarding, camping, setting off fireworks, sitting by the campfire and listening to country music. Kyle enjoyed baking cakes and smoking meat. He looked forward to attending the demolition derby to watch his uncle JR and cousin Tyler alongside his family and friends. Kyle and his best friend, Nick, found joy in mudding in his truck and doing burnouts. He liked to say “I’m gonna live everyday like it’s my last. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Do a burnout today!” Kyle was always lovingly teasing his sister, Kaylee, and spending time with his dog, Diesel. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
