Kathryn “Kathy” Byrd Peck, 85, of Storm Lake passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at Methodist Manor in Storm Lake.
Private graveside services will be held. Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Kathy was born in Des Moines, grew up in Pocahontas and lived most of her life in Storm Lake.
Left to cherish Kathy’s memory include her children: Cheryl (Jody) Rohrbeck of Grimes; Shelli Peck (John Andersen) of Plattsmouth, Neb.; Robert “Bob” (Beth) Peck of Grimes; Eric Peck (Kym Tran) of Alexandria, Va.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother Jeff Byrd (Deb) of Minnesota; brother-in-law Jim Dysart of Minnesota; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Kathryn Byrd; her husband Robert "Bob" Peck in 2023; and sister Connie Dysart.
