ISU Extension and Outreach Summer Camps & Workshops

JUNE 3: Totally Turtles Workshop, 1-3 p.m.

Come learn about turtles with BV County Naturalist Katie Struss. For grades K-3. Cost is $5 for Clover Kids or $10 for non members.

JUNE 4: Recycled Glass Art Workshop, 1-3 p.m.

Come create glass art from recycled dishes. For grades 4-12. Cost is $10 for 4-H members or $15 for non members.

JUNE 12: Canvas Painting Workshop, 1-3 p.m.

Come paint a pig or cow canvas painting. For grades 4-12. Cost is $10 for 4-H members or $15 for non members.

JUNE 17: It’s in the Bag Cooking Workshop, 9 a.m.-noon

You will be taught how to make all things in a bag! From omelets to bread to butter to ice cream. For grades K-3. Cost is $10 for Clover Kids or $15 for non members.

JUNE 19: Baking Workshop, 9 a.m.-noon

Come learn to bake two approved recipes for fair! We will be making muffins and granola bars. For grades 4-12. Cost is $10 for 4-H members or $15 for non members.

JUNE 25: A Day in Italy, 1-3 p.m.

Get ready for an adverture to Italy — no passport needed! Participants will dive in the art, food and traditions of this amazing country. From creating colorful masterpieces to tasting delicious Italian treats, it’s a fun-filled journey around the world. For grades 4-12. Cost is $10 for 4-H memberes or $20 for non members.

JULY 29: Pollinator Workshop, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Come learn all about bees and how they pollinate. For grades K-3. Cost is free for Clover Kid members or $5 for non members.

AUG. 4: All About Owls Workshop

Come larn all about owls and celebrate World Owl Day. Katie Struss the Buena Vista County Naturalist and Luna the barred owl will make an appearance. For grades K-3. Cost is $5 for Clover Kids members or $10 for non members.
