Don’t miss the singing, the color and the humor (even adult humor) that fills the stage this weekend when a cast of 85 Storm Lake middle schoolers under the direction of Jolene Schaefer perform “The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition.”

In the 60-minute adaptation, SpongeBob and friends must save Bikini Bottom from the erupting Mt. Humongous. When panic sets in, SpongeBob proves that optimism and teamwork can save the day, with help from Sandy’s science and Patrick’s friendship, overcoming plots by Plankton.
