Get ready for Fiesta Latina

Fiesta Latina 2025 is coming up Sunday, Oct. 26, from 12-6 p.m. at Storm Lake Middle School. The event is a celebration of Latino culture and heritage and will include food vendors, entertainment, music and so much more. This event is open to all community members.

Fiesta Latina is sponsored by Raices, a student-lead organization from Buena Vista University that was created to empower and develop the Latino students of our campus as leaders of character for our community.

• 4-4:20 p.m. Konkultura (Baile Folclórico)
• 4-5 p.m. Son Perches
• 5-5:15 p.m. Ritmos De mi Tierra (Baile Folclórico)
• 5:15-5:45 Limbo
• A diferentes horas Piñatas

Among the vendors are: Valentina’s Meat Market, Taqueria la Trinidad, Wow K Raspados, Ocean Bree, El Antojito, Delicias Market, KonKultura Families, Cafela Churreria, Gigi’s Bows, MMKS Cosmetics, Twine and Shine and Next Level Creation.

Among the community partners are: Salud Multicultural Health Coalition, Ashley Wolftornabane for U.S. House, United Community Health Center, Buena Vista County Democrats, Family Crisis Center and Cricket Wireless.
