Friends of the Library begins fundraiser

The Friends of the Storm Lake Public Library annual fundraiser is taking place this holiday season. The library is a vital resource for the community, and this is the Friends' only fundraising campaign. Donations to the nonprofit volunteer organization provides library furnishings and materials, educational and informative programs for adults and children and more.

For 2026, one of the projects planned is a renovation of the library children’s department, including replacement of the children’s computer station.

Donations may be made at the library or sent to Friends of the Library, 609 Cayuga St., Storm Lake, IA 50588. (Checks payable to Friends of the Storm Lake Library.)

Also, the library is offering four gift baskets available by silent bid. They make ideal Christmas gifts! Stop at the library to view the baskets and enter your bid.
