Throughout his life, he played guitar in numerous bands and enjoyed the creativity and connection that music brought him. He enjoyed following politics and current events and never shied away from a good conversation. He also loved his dogs, who were cherished companions and brought him great joy throughout his life.

Above all else, Doug treasured his family. He took great pride in watching his children and grandchildren participate in activities and events, always showing up with encouragement, enthusiasm and unwavering support. Nothing brought him greater joy than being surrounded by those he loved.

Doug will be remembered for his kind heart, positive spirit and genuine care for others. His warmth, generosity and ability to find the good in people left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
