Donald Dean Harskamp, 67, of Storm Lake passed away on July 2, 2026.
Funeral services will take place Friday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial will be in Storm Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Don was born July 4, 1958, to Donald Lee and Patricia Harskamp in Upland, Calif.
Don brought joy to his family with his humorous personality. He shared his love of cooking with family and friends. Don was a sports fan and followed the Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cyclones. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. One of his favorite places to be was in Linn Grove. He spent many hours feeding and watching squirrels. Don held a record in track at Storm Lake High School for numerous years. He was a talented welder and worked in the welding industry for many years.
Don is survived by his two sons: Tyler (Amanda) Harskamp of Milford; Marty Harskamp of Storm Lake; mother Patricia Harskamp of Storm Lake; sisters: Jackie (Wendell) Stief of Storm Lake; Diane Malcom of Humboldt; Julie (Brian) Peterson of Iowa City; brother Doug (Nadine) Harskamp of St. Louis, Mo.; seven nephews and three nieces; special friend Kim Dahm of Storm Lake; extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald Lee Harskamp; and son Jacob Harskamp.
