A Touch of Broadway brings ‘This is America’ show to Albert City

After a successful Buena Vista Community Theatre production of “The Sound of Music” in  2001, the theater board of directors formed this traveling troupe to provide a performance  outlet for the quality talent from Buena Vista County, as well as offer family-friendly  entertainment options in our area. With hopes of booking four or five shows that first season, the group completed their first year the following August, having performed 26 shows. As of  2026, the group has performed well over 300 energetic and entertaining shows, with each  performer donating their talents to make every show unique and engaging. The 2026 show coincides with the United States’ 250th birthday celebration — it is entitled “THIS IS AMERICA” and promises to be one of their most memorable tributes to our  country!      

Touch of Broadway will be performing at the Albert City Public Library (215 Main St.) on Tuesday, April 7, at 7 p.m. Come for the 250th celebration of our country in song. Tell your friends, bring your friends for a wonderful night out! Cake and refreshments will be served after the program.
