Students shine at Twin Lakes Art Show


Students from Sioux Central, Newell-Fonda and Alta-Aurelia high schools excelled at the Twin Lakes Conference Art Show at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge March 20. The show judge was Stewart Buck from Ankeny.

• Greta Larsen, grade 12, Newell-Fonda, “Untitled,” digital illustration/ media, third place

• Kelsee Aronson, grade 12, Alta-Aurelia, “Fish Head,” digital illustration/ media, second place; “Universal Drift,” drawing — chromatic, third place

• Lidia Diischer, grade 11, Alta-Aurelia, “Precisely Crafted,” 2D mixed media & printmaking, third place

• Cadence Hartley, grade 12, Sioux Central, “Enchanted Loneliness,” painting non-acrylic, first place

• Johnathan Santos, grade 9, Newell-Fonda, “Untitled,” drawing — achromatic, first place
