Rickey Corrin, 72, of Storm Lake died Jan. 24, 2024 at St. Luke Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial was in Early Union Cemetery.
Rickey Dean Corrin was born Aug. 30, 1951, the son of Eugene and Mary (Gunderson) Corrin in Sac City. He attended school in Crestland, and went on to graduate from Spencer School of Business. Rickey worked at Wilson Foods in Cherokee, for about f40 years. Most recently, he enjoyed working for Bob-A-Lee in Laurens.
On May 31, 1991, Rickey was united in marriage to Donna Curry at United Methodist Church in Storm Lake.
In his free time, Rickey found joy in the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and trapping. Rickey also enjoyed raising sheep and attending auctions. He looked forward to visiting with his friends at the 3 & 71 truck stop and playing Bingo with Donna and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish the memory of Rickey include his wife Donna Corrin of Storm Lake; daughter Teresa Corrin of Fort Myers, Fla.; sister Sandra (Gary) Bolles; sister-in-law Linda Corrin; brother-in-law James (Jan) Curry; sister-in-law Jana (Herman) Hauck; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mary Corrin; brothers, Raymond Corrin and Ronald Corrin; and parents-in-law, James and Edna Curry.
