Nicole Rassler

Nicole Ann Rassler, 49, of Alta died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Visitation will take place Saturday, Sept. 7, from 5-7 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake.

Nicole was born Sept. 1, 1974, to Raymond and Sally (Platt) Rassler in Storm Lake. She was baptized in 1975 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake, where she remained a lifelong member. Nicole attended grade school in Rembrandt. She graduated in 1993 from Sioux Central High School in Sioux Rapids.

Nicole worked in the telemarketing field in various towns. She then worked in customer service for Lincoln Financial for the last 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed backroad sites and camping. Nicole enjoyed spending time with her friends. Her pride and joy were all her cats. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nicole is survived by her mother Sally Rassler of Rembrandt; domestic partner Kyle Bethune of Alta; sister Malissa M. Rassler (Drew Hoogestraat) of Sioux Falls, S.D.; niece: Chloe Hefner of Asheville, N.C.; Kendra Rassler of Spencer; Kyle’s daughter, Jasmine Bethune of Cherokee; uncles: Patrick (Deb) Platt and Kenneth (Becky) Rassler; aunts: Annabelle Chundlund, Margaret Anderson and Nadine Meyer; many cousins and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Rassler; grandparents: Charles and Joyce Platt; Albert Rassler and Isabelle (Amil) Anderson; Ed Rassler; Vernice (Jerry) Buckendahl; Velma (Gordon) Totten; Ron Chindlund; and Kelly Meyer.
