Letters to the Editor: Iowa’s attorney general is a joke; Reynolds gave Iowa ‘the bird’

“The bird” is so bad she endorsed a failed ex-president — who is twice impeached, four times indicted — with 61 possible felonies! This “crook” says “if elected,” he plans to fill the office. I ask from where?

He has such a low standard — can you say Sidney Powell? — he told “the bird” that she was “one of the truly respected people in all of politics.” But then he has been known to lie on occasion — many, many occasions.

“The bird” claims Donald Trump “will uphold our Constitution?” Like he did when he and his “minions” tried to foist slates of fake electors on numerous states? He took an oath NOT to do that, sort of like some other vows he took — and broke.

The burger man could show them how it’s done

While the world teeters the Republicans dither. Five Guys in D.C. or McDonald’s just down the bike trail from our house, any of us can cite any number of examples of folks in all walks of American life who are doing their jobs day in and day out better than Congress. We don’t have to wait until November for the next government shutdown deadline. House Republicans have effectively begun it already. The legislative branch is dead in the water. And the water is rising.
