Letter to the Editor: A fresh start

I'm not a political person and frankly I don't know the difference between the Democratic and Republican Party. And I'll bet most of Gen X and Gen Z don't either without looking it up on their phones.

But if I had one wish — a big one — it would be to dissolve both parties. Take the most constructive bits of each party and combine it into one party. That way they HAVE to work together. They don't have the know-nothings, bull moose or the stories anymore, let’s just start fresh. I would also have all the members of Congress line up in a row then have someone’s mom slap them on the side of their heads with a “play nice!”

Oh well, this too shall pass.
