Get ready for the BV Fair

The Buena Vista County Fair kicks off Wednesday, July 10, and lots of fun is in store. This will be the second year for Bacon Buddies, which pairs local young people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with mentors. In this photo from 2023 “Buddy” Trey Yanak leads a pig through the ring. In back are his mentor Emily Launderville and judge Aron Nieland. Catch Bacon Buddies at 1 p.m. Friday in the 4-H show ring.
