From the Storm Lake Farmers Market: Thank you

The 2023 Storm Lake Farmers Market vendors send out a warm thank you to their faithful customers and new shoppers for another wonderful market season.

Thank you to Storm Lake United and the City of Storm Lake for their support and permission to use Parking Lot C.  Thank you to the area businesses and residents whose parking was limited on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

A special thank you to Joe Cullen and Dolores Cullen for bringing their musical talents to the market in August and September.  That was a treat for visitors and vendors as well!

Thank you to Dana Larsen for his weekly reminders on the City of Storm Lake Facebook page, about the market days and times.  And for his photo collage of our small heartbeat in Storm Lake. Thank you also to the Storm Lake Times Pilot for their coverage.

We pride ourselves in knowing that all our produce is grown locally.  Gardening is a busy and time-consuming talent. Everything we sell is grown or made through hard work, from vegetables to baked goods, local honey and farm-fresh eggs.  This past summer we added soy candles and bracelets, also locally made.

It’s time to dig the rest of the potatoes and gather up the squash and pumpkins.  It's time to put the gardens to rest and plan for the 2024 market season.  Please visit us in the summer of 2024.  We will be anxious to see your smiling faces and hear what you did all winter.
