Eduardo Diaz III, 26, of Holstein passed away Nov. 13, 2022.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake was in charge of arrangements.
Eduardo Diaz III was born June 18, 1996, to Eduardo Diaz and Ludivina Cervantes in Mankato, Minn. He attended school in Storm Lake, graduating in 2014. Eduardo was blessed with three children: Noellie, Meilani and Valeria.
Eduardo loved to travel and eat different foods. He enjoyed playing video games and Anime. More than anything, Eduardo loved his family. He cherished time with his children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Eduardo is survived by his parents, Eduardo and Ludivina (Cervantes) Diaz; significant other Ivette Tapia of Holstein; children: Noellie Adaliyne O’Brien Diaz of Omaha, Neb.; Meilani Isabella Diaz of Holstein; Valeria Araceli Diaz of Holstein; brothers: Jesus Isai Diaz of Storm Lake; Adrian Munoz of St. James, Minn.; sisters: Alexis Yesenia Cervantes of Storm Lake; Bianca Cervantes (Fabian Ramirez Salazar) of Storm Lake; stepbrothers: Juan David Diaz of St. James, Minn.; Vicente Diaz of Wilder, Minn.; stepsister Ruth Vanessa Diaz of Hyattsville, Md.; extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Apolonia Mendez; and great-aunt, Modesta Posadas.
