Donna was born in Storm Lake, on June 17, 1966 and played with her siblings at the nearby lake. Though she did not particularly enjoy high school, except for her art classes, Donna found solace in running. Her talent as a runner led her to participate in cross country and track events, an experience that taught her the value of perseverance and determination. In 1985, Donna proudly graduated from Storm Lake High School.

Family was at the center of Donna's life, and she embraced her roles as a mother and grandmother with boundless love and tenderness. She dedicated herself to raising her children and grandchildren, showering them with care and nurturing their dreams. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, Donna also worked at a daycare center and several grocery stores. Her reliability and punctuality as an employee were unmatched, a testament to her diligent work ethic.

Donna possessed an incredible talent for crafting beautiful creations through needlepoint, scrapbooking and quilting. These hobbies allowed her artistic spirit to flourish while she found joy in walking and hiking amidst nature's beauty, losing herself in the pages of a good book or with puzzles.

One of Donna's greatest pleasures in life came from spending time with her loved ones. She adored large family gatherings where laughter echoed through the air like music. Christmas held a special place in her heart as she lovingly baked delectable treats; her desserts were legendary.

A woman of faith, Donna was a dedicated Christian who found solace and inspiration in studying God's Word. She actively participated in Awana and enjoyed attending church services and engaging in Bible studies. Her unwavering commitment to her faith guided her actions, and she lived with purpose, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

Donna's proudest accomplishments included her exquisite angel needlepoint creations and the scrapbooks she lovingly curated, capturing the milestones and precious moments of her children's lives. These tangible tokens of love serve as a reminder of her boundless affection for her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Davis; and parents-in-law, Jim and Phyllis Ayers.
