Corey C. Reese, 54, of Fort Dodge, died March 3, 2024 in Omaha, Neb.
Memorial services will take place Thursday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
Corey Charles Reese was born July 18, 1969, the son of Charles and Patricia (White) Reese. He was baptized and confirmed at tUnited Methodist Church in Laurens. Corey attended Laurens-Marathon School in Laurens, then went on to graduate from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.
Corey was united in marriage to Darcy Reese in Storm Lake. They were blessed with children: Kendra, Kaylysa and Kody.
Corey enjoyed being a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Art was Corey’s passion and he was a talented woodworker and builder. Corey was also good at fixing anything that would break down and never hesitated to help others. He loved all things Rock n’ Roll and enjoyed attending concerts. Road trips and outings brought Corey joy. More than anything, Corey treasured time with his family. He looked forward to seeing his grandchildren and spending the holidays with his kids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish Corey’s memory include his children: Kendra Peters of Storm Lake; Kaylysa Ladner of Fort Dodge; Kody Ladner of Fort Dodge; brother Eric Reese of Fort Dodge; sister Erica (Wade) Reese of Laurens; grandchildren: Elijah Reese and Lilian Conklin; extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darcy Reese; parents, Sue and Charles Reese; grandparents: Geralad and Ruby Reese; Lowell White; and Phylis (Cox) White.
