She graduated from Aurelia High School in 1964. She then attended CE School of Business in Omaha, Neb. On July 31, 1965, Bonnie was united in marriage to Dale (Butch) Sleezer, Jr. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The couple made their home on a farm north of Aurelia until moving to Storm Lake a year ago. They were blessed with three sons: Douglas, Derrick and Dana. Bonnie loved living, working and raising a family on the farm. Over the years, she enjoyed cooking, card clubs, playing golf, riding in her red convertible and traveling to Florida. She took great delight in her grandchildren and watching their sporting events. Bonnie could always be found with her dog Wilson by her side. She thoroughly enjoyed living at the lake and watching the activities on the water.
