Larry Otto, 80, of Storm Lake, formerly of Aurelia, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Funeral services will take place Saturday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Hanover. Burial will be in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Larry Ervin Otto was born July 8, 1943 in Storm Lake, the son of Ervin and Dora (Bedke) Otto. Larry was baptized Sept. 5, 1943 and confirmed his faith April 14, 1957 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hanover. He was a dedicated member of St. John his entire life. Larry attended school in Hanover and graduated from Galva High School in 1961.
Larry was a lifelong farmer and animal lover. He enjoyed tending to his livestock and exploring the countryside. Larry was an excellent brother to his younger sister, Janis. One could never catch Larry complaining. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish Larry’s memory include his sister, Janis, and numerous cousins.
Welcoming him into heaven are his parents, Ervin and Dora Otto.
