Edwin “Ed” Bredvick, 64, of Storm Lake died Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 at his home.
Memorial visitation will take place Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 5-7 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
On Dec. 21, 1959, Albert and Catherine (Boettcher) Bredvick were blessed with a son, Edwin Omer Bredvick. He grew up attending school in Storm Lake, graduating in 1978.
Ed was united in marriage to Tracy Behm on May 16, 1986 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake. To this union two daughters were born, Robyn and Nicole.
Ed worked for the Storm Lake City Street Department. In his free time, he enjoyed hanging in his shop and working in his garden. He looked forward to Tallboy Tuesdays at Puff's in Storm Lake where he could enjoy having a beer with friends. Ed liked tinkering in the garage and watching NASCAR. More than anything, he treasured time with his family. His “girls” were very important to him and he loved teaching his grandson, Hudson, all about life. Ed will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife Tracy of Storm Lake; daughters: Robyn Bredvick of Waterloo; Nicole Bredvick of Newell; brothers: John Bredvick, Rob (Diane) Bredvick and Eric Bredvick; grandson Hudson; extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Catherine (Boettcher) Bredvick; sister Barb (Bob) Dye; and sister-in-law, Sandi Bredvick.
May you always find the time for one more quick one.
