Sioux Central finished with six hits in the game. Preslie Peterson led the way with three singles. Natalie Laursen added two singles and Halle Laursen singled for the Rebels.

Halle Laursen and Bradi Krager each drove in two runs. Brynn Webber added an RBI. Peterson scored two runs.

Sioux Central was plagued by five errors.

“We have to clean up our play,” Sioux Central coach Kasey Krager said. “Too many walks and errors, and those equate to easy runs for the opposing team. Offensively, we had enough hits and runners on base, but were unable to drive them in. We left 11 runners on base. Next week is a new week and going to be a busy one. Hopefull,y we start playing some better softball.”
