Tyler Moon finished 14th overall and Luiz Martinez took 25th in his season debut as Storm Lake placed ninth in the Le Mars Invitational on Tuesday.

Sioux City North won the meet with 16 points. Storm Lake scored 226 points and Ridge View was 14th with 371.

Juan Jimenez-Delcid was 72nd with a time of 21:46. Christian Roque and Adrian Zeledon-Pena were 75th and 76th, respectively, with times of 22:14 and 22:20. Tyler Bauer took 85th in 23:05.

“It was nice to have our guys team back to full strength,” Storm Lake coach Justin Mellmann said. “As long as this group stays healthy, I think we will see some good team efforts moving forward. We have Luiz Martinez back into the lineup. We wanted him to run this first race back a little bit controlled, and I thought he looked good. I think he will be good to go moving forward. Tyler Moon had another good race. He was a bit under the weather, but raced well and placed in the medals.”

Storm Lake will host its annual invitational on Tuesday at Sunrise Pointe Golf Course.

RIDGE VIEW was led by Kyler Wunschel, who placed 51st with a time of 19:38. Brody Bisenius was 59th in 20:31 and Matthew Forristal 83rd in a time of 22:55. Adrian Altena placed 88th with a time of 24:33. Jack Todd was 90th in 24:44 and Grant Movall 95th in 25:45.
