SE Webster-Grand scores run in 7th to knock off Sioux Central in TLC play

Southeast Webster-Grand scored a run in the top of the seventh inning to rally for a 6-5 win over Sioux Central in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday at Peterson.

The Eagles also scored a run in the sixth inning to tie the game at 5-5.

Sioux Central had 12 hits in the game. Evan Balder, Tim Saunders and Nick Sievers all had two hits apiece. Sievers also drove in a run.

Clayton Geisinger belted an RBI double for the Rebels, who scored three runs in the first inning and two in the fifth. Franky Perkins and Colton Miller each delivered an RBI single.

Balder suffered the loss. He gave up eight hits and six runs, one of which was earned, walked one and struck out five over 61⁄3 innings.
