The Storm Lake City Council submitted its five-year airport capital improvement program during its meeting Monday.
The council has three projects planned: a taxiway and apron rehab and two lighting replacement programs on the runway. The projects cost $166,100, $641,405 and $613,070 respectively with $149,490, $577,265 and $551,763 in respective federal funding for the projects.
The total cost of the plan is $1,420,575. Federal grants will cover $1,278,518 and the local match will be $142,057.
The projects are scheduled for FY 17, FY 18 and FY 20.
