Congratulations to Storm Lake High School Tornado Vocal Jazz, one of eight 3A schools in Iowa to be accepted into the 2018 Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships.

The group of 18 singers has made school history. It’s the first time SLHS has made it to the championships.

Tornado Vocal Jazz was formed by vocal director Joanne Tucker, with their first performance in January 2016. They are in their third season.

To qualify, Tucker sent in a video of the group from the Swing Show in January.
