Radio crew helps out on Habitat House

Taking a break in the basement Saturday are Barry Carlson, Joel Herman, Tom Carver, Matt Fisher, Denny Fisher and Michael Sanderson. Representing KAYL were Herman, Fisher, Scott Randall and Ryan Thompson,

Despite the temperatures, the local Habitat for Humanity house at 1334 Oneida Street has been put on its foundation and generous citizens are working on the inside. Last Saturday volunteers from Storm Lake Radio helped build walls in the basement and demoed the kitchen. “We only have four months to get it done, so all hands on deck!” says director Misty Sanderson. She is thankful to the many who have stepped forward. Coming this Saturday is a group of First Responders. Contact Misty Sanderson at 509-710-0355 if you have any questions or want to schedule a time to volunteer.
