BVU men beat Wartburg to keep pace in IIAC

Canyon Hopkins scored a team-high 16 points to lead five players in double figures as Buena Vista used a strong second half surge to pick up a 77-66 win over Wartburg on Wednesday at Siebens Fieldhouse.

The Knights led 36-35 at the break and continued to lead 49-47 7 minutes into the second before BVU responded with a 9-0 run to give it a 56-49 lead with under 10 minutes to play.
