Sioux Central takes control in second half to beat St. Mary’s in Twin Lakes Conference play

Sioux Central held Storm Lake St. Mary’s to only eight points in the second half as the Rebels took control of the game and went on to defeat the Panthers 54-25 in a Twin Lakes Conference game on Tuesday at St. Mary’s.

Sioux Central jumped out to a 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The Rebels led 21-17 at halftime and 36-23 heading into the fourth quarter of action.

Dani Boettcher poured in 26 points to lead Sioux Central, now 13-6 overall. Kally Fahnlander added 10 and Maddy Mueller six.
