No. 3 Remsen SM proves to be too much for St. Mary’s, 66-42

Nicholas Ruden scored 18 of his game-high 20 points in the first half to help No. 3-ranked Remsen St. Mary’s beat Storm Lake St. Mary’s 66-42 in a nonconference game played on Monday night at St. Mary’s.

Brody Ricke added 14 points and Carter Kuchel 13 as the Hawks improve to 17-0 on the season.

The Hawks built a 32-14 lead in the second quarter, but  the Panthers (2-14) closed the half on a 5-0 run. Will Hurd made a 3-pointer and Chakouthchok Malou had a steal and a layup in the final 30 seconds to make it 38-27 at the half.
