Santa’s Castle, Storm Lake’s holiday headquarters,
opens Thanksgiving Day! The building has been
bustling over the past few weeks as displays are
arranged and volunteers come in to decorate trees.
Last Thursday Girl Scouts from Schaller trimmed
their tree. In the foreground is Carly Spanier.

Everyone’s a kid when they visit Santa’s Castle. Storm Lake’s historic Carnegie Library houses one of the largest displays of antique animated Christmas characters.
Each year these charming low-tech creations attract visitors from all over the nation and beyond. An army of local volunteers make Santa’s Castle run. Come and bring your family!
