Storm Lake had a breakthrough season a year ago, winning 14 of its 22 games. It was highest win total since 2000.
This season promises to be an extension of that success with a more balanced team.

Storm Lake may not have quantity, but they do have quality.
The Tornado boys team will only include 12 swimmers this season, but there is quite a bit of talent leading the charge into the new season.
Heading that list is Drew Binning. The senior holds the school record in the 200 individual medley (2:16.6) and will be strong in the 100 butterflt, 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle and the relays.
The only other senior on the team is Collin Loring, who will swim mostly in freestyle events.
