
Storm Lake’s Cham Deng was the premier player
in the area. The first team all-Lakes Conference
pick averaged 14.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.6
assists a game.

Basketball players aren’t made from November to March. They’re made in the summer.
No one exemplified that more than Cham Deng. The Storm Lake junior spent countless hours honing his game in the gym and getting stronger in the weight room.
Why? To take his game to the next level.
Deng did that this season, blossoming from a supporting cast role last year to a leading role this year. His level of play improved dramatically, and so did his statistics.
