Newell-Fonda remains in first in Twin Lakes after win over SCC

Bryce Coppock finished with 22 points, three assists and three steals to help Newell-Fonda beat South Central Calhoun 61-50 in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday at Lake City.

The Mustangs held a 14-12 lead after the first quarter. It was 23-18 at halftime and 44-36 heading into the fourth period of play.

Aden Mahler contributed 13 points for the Mustangs, now 11-5. Tanner Gerke added eight, and Jimmy Becker and R.J. Rojas each had seven. Jesse Haack and Alex Spangler scored two points apiece.
