A tiny gun store pops up in a tiny town

Knight Arms is at 112 N. Agora St., just south of the post office in
Marathon. Owner Mike White welcomes walk-in traffic Saturday
morning, including his wife Diane, at the door, with their dog
Sophie. Guns for sale are stored in the lofts and are accessible
from the center of the store where you can see a break in the
ceiling. Times photos by Dolores Cullen

Welcome to Knight Arms, a business selling firearms, ammunition and accessories on Marathon’s main drag, Agora Street. The first thing you’ll notice about this building is how tiny it is, appropriately in this tiny burg of 239 people.

It’s a Premier portable building, just 12 feet wide, but it serves its purpose very well, says owner Mike White.
