Tornadoes fall, 66-41

Spencer outscored Storm Lake 24-9 in the second quarter as the Tigers took control of the game and went on to defeat the Tornadoes 66-41 in a Lakes Conference game last Friday at Spencer.

The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for Storm Lake, which is now 1-6 in the Lakes Conference and 4-11 overall.

Spencer held a 9-7 lead after the first quarter. It was 33-16 at halftime and 49-27 heading into the fourth quarter of play.
