Bryce Coppock poured in 24 points, including 13 in the decisive fourth quarter to help Newell-Fonda pull away and beat Storm Lake St. Mary’s 66-53 in a Twin Lakes Conference game on Tuesday night at Newell.

Newell-Fonda, now 9-5 overall, scored the first eight points of the game, but St. Mary’s came back to take a  15-14 lead after one quarter.

The Panthers went into the locker room with a 30-28 lead at the half. It was 41-39 St. Mary’s when Newell-Fonda scored eight unanswered points to grab a 47-41 lead after three periods. Aden Mahler broke a 41-41 tie with a 3-pointer.
