Spirit Lake scored the first seven points of the game in racing out to a 21-2 lead after the first quarter and the Indians were never threatened after that as they defeated Storm Lake 63-31 last Thursday at Spirit Lake.

The Indians extended their lead to 36-9 by halftime. It was 51-22 Spirit Lake heading into the fourth quarter.

Briana Soto scored eight points to lead Storm Lake, now 2-9 overall. Pasha Nyewe added six points and Rachel Bozonie five.

Skylar Cole, Danielle Reyes and Kaylee Oehler all tallied three points. Nyathal Deng had two and Jenna Neumann one.
