Newell-Fonda disrupts Spencer offense to win

Olivia Larsen scored 15 points to lead three players in double figures and Newell-Fonda outscored Spencer 22-5 in the second period as the Mustangs rolled to a 76-31 win in a nonconference game on Tuesday at Spencer.

The Mustangs jumped out to a 17-9 lead after the first quarter. It was 35-21 at halftime and 57-26 heading into the fourth period.

Camry Wilken scored 12 points for Newell-Fonda. Ella Larsen added 10 and Emma Stewart nine.

Jenna Coppock and Anna Tiefenthaler each tallied eight points. Megan Morenz had seven, Beth Greenfield five and Maggie Walker two.
