Juhl’s 3-pointer helps Buena Vista win fifth straight IIAC opener

Adam Juhl made a 3-point shot with 12.4 seconds to play, and the defense came up big on the final possession of the game as Buena Vista held on for a 91-90 win over Simpson on Wedneday at Indianola to begin Iowa Conference play.

The Storm went on a 19-6 run to take an 84-78 lead with just over 4 minutes to play in regulation.  BVU, after leading by as many as 16 in the first half, came back to make it a 90-88 game after Billy Sparks made a pair of free throws with 1:47 remaining.
